2023 Dance Congress - Jersey City

2023 Dance Congress - A Day of Dancing!

Join us for our Spring event of the season, a day of dance where we welcome you in with a breakfast bar, invite world renown guest coaches to teach specialty workshops, enjoy a catered lunch, and follow it all up with an afternoon of performance showcases by our students and professional instructors! This year, we are pleased to welcome these top dance professionals:

  • Adrienne Weidert, National Swing Dance Champion, Jitterbug Champion, and Lindy Hop Showcase Champion specializing in Lindy Hop,Charleston, and Solo Jazz
  • Nelson Flores, World Renown Salsero and Choreographer, official judge of the ESPN World Salsa Competition and Puerto Rico Salsa Open, co-producer of the World Salsa Summit in Miami
  • Lori Ann & Kelvin Roche, 9-Time Hustle World Champions, choreographers for SYTYCD Canada, Finalists at USDC (United States Dance Competition) in Pro Latin, Rhythm, and Theater Arts, Finalists in the Invitational Theater Arts at Blackpool Dance Festival

Planned Schedule of Events for Saturday, April 15:

  • 9:15am-10am: Doors Open, Breakfast Bar
  • 10:00am-10:45am: Lindy Hop Swing Workshop with Adrienne Weidert National Swing Dance Champion, Jitterbug Champion, and Lindy Hop Showcase Champion, specializes in Lindy Hop, Charleston, and Solo Jazz
  • 10:50am-11:35am: Salsa Mambo Workshop with Nelson Flores World Renown Salsero and Choreographer, official judge of the ESPN World Salsa Competition and Puerto Rico Salsa Open, co-producer of the World Salsa Summit in Miami
  • 11:40am-12:25pm: Hustle Workshop with Lori Ann & Kelvin Roche 9-Time Hustle World Champions, choreographers for SYTYCD Canada, Finalists at USDC (United States Dance Competition) in Pro Latin, Rhythm, and Theater Arts, Finalists in the Invitational Theater Arts at Blackpool Dance Festival
  • 12:25pm-1:30pm: Catered Lunch
  • 1:30pm-3:00pm: Showtime!
